The Mariners return Jose Lugo to the Minnesota Twins
The Mariners have returned 24-year old lefty reliever Jose Lugo to the Twins. He was a Rule 5 Draft Pick over the winter. Lugo pitched in 51 games (0 starts) in A-ball last night in which he was 2-6 with 1 save, a 4.04 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP. Lugo did whiff 76 batters in only 69 minor league innings last season which shows that he has some upside.
